Final Fantasy XII was pretty much my life during our long two week break. I had bought the game about a week or so before the break started. It was a weekend and I had some old PSP games that I wanted to take to GameStop and get some store credit for. So me and my mom went down to Loveland and walked in the store. I walked around the store looking at the large selection of games that they had in stock. As I got to the front counter I talked to the man at the counter and told him what I wanted to do. He took the games from me and to my surprise my total store credit was 48 dollars and some odd cents. I went straight to the right of the store for the playstation games. Being the huge nerd that I am, I already knew the exact game I was looking for on playstation 2. Final Fantasy XII! Once I found it I took it right off the shelf and brought it to the counter.
The next hour or so I really don’t remember, probably do to the fact that I was so anxious to get home and play the game. What I do remember is taking the shiny new game disc, and inserting it into the console. The next four or however many hours I was playing were awesome! I wasn’t able to play all day due to the fact that I still had school to attend, but when break started I unleashed on the game. I played every single day for about more than twelve hours. Now of course this wasn’t straight, but it would be for about three to four hour intervals. The game probably got tired of me but I did not get tired of the game, a total of about 42 hours and some odd minutes is what I reached over the course of the break. Now this included some very tough bosses such as the earth tyrant. Just thinking about how hard he was still gives me the chills. My characters were quite under leveled to be facing this boss at this time, but this didn’t occur to me at the time so I kept on fighting him. In the end I defeated him but not without some hardships. This was by far the hardest boss I have faced to date. But from that experience I have learned to level up my characters and have been making them stronger so that other bosses are not as tough. Now I am at about 45 hours, not much more but I have not been able to play much. Within about a total of 130 hours I should be able to beat the game with 100 percent completion. This is very nerdy but this is what I did over my break and I loved every second, minute, and hour of game play.
